Gann tools

Tools that treat price and time as one geometry, each counted from a high or low you choose. The fan is free; the rest come with the trial or Pro.

The tools

Gann fan⌥GFree

  2. Click a high or low for the pivot (Fit takes a second click the chosen ray passes through).
  3. Select it to change the scale and which angles show.

Square of 9⌥9Pro

  1. Click a price.
  2. Its Square of 9 levels are drawn above and below it.

Gann box⌥BPro

  2. Click one corner, then the opposite corner.
  3. Select it for the grid, angles, circles, labels, crossings and repeats; Square price & time makes it a true square.

  2. Click the swing high (either order works).
  3. Select it to choose which parts show.

Getting it right

  • Lock price to time (⌥1) before you trust an angle. Without it the 1×1 only looks like 45° at one zoom.
  • Use the magnet (⌥S) so the pivot is the real high or low.
  • The Square of 9 wheel (Display → Square of 9 wheel) is free and sits over the chart; the Square of 9 drawing puts the levels on the chart from a price you click.
  • For a quick number without a chart, the Square of 9 calculator is free.

Our tests of Gann angles, the Square of 9 and time counts found no edge over chance on the markets we tried. Use them to organise a chart, and test them on yours: what we found.
