Alerts
Alerts belong to your account, so you need to be signed in. They're emailed, and they can show as browser notifications too.
An alert on a drawing
- 1Select a level, a trendline, a date line or an arc on the chart.
- 2Open Alerts (the bell in the top bar, or the inspector's Alerts tab).
- 3Choose Price reaches for a price line, or Remind me for a date. A reminder on daily bars comes the day before.
The list underneath shows what you're watching and when each one last fired.
A rule that watches
Any rule written in Ask the chart can be left running on a market's daily bars. When it fires on a bar that has closed, your account gets one email.
- It runs on daily bars, after the close, at most once a day. It isn't a real-time signal.
- A rule made only of calendar words (an aspect, a station, a halving) can also warn ahead, because those days are known in advance.
- To watch an aspect without writing a rule, pick two bodies, an aspect and an orb; the rule they make is shown before it's set.
Browser notifications
Turn them on in the Alerts panel. If your browser blocks them, its site settings for studio.pyratime.com need to allow notifications.
