Quick start
Four steps from an empty tab to a chart you can send someone: find a symbol, place an anchor, draw, then save and share.
1. Find a symbol
- 1Open Studio. Anyone can open a chart; there's nothing to sign up for yet.
- 2Click the symbol box at the top left, type a ticker such as BTCUSDT, XRP or SPX, and press Enter.
- 3Pick an interval in the box beside it. Daily, weekly and monthly are open to everyone; minutes and hours on Binance pairs come with the trial or Pro.
Scroll to zoom and drag to pan. ⌥0 (Alt+0) resets the view.
2. Place an anchor
Nearly every PyraTime tool counts from an anchor: a high or low you choose. The choice matters more than the tool.
- 1Find a turn the market clearly respected, such as a cycle low or a blow-off high. A turn you have to squint to see makes a weak anchor.
- 2Turn on the magnet (⌥S) on the drawing rail, so your clicks land on the real high or low rather than near it.
- 3For the Gann and Price–Time geometry, turn on Lock price to time (⌥1). It holds the 1×1 at 45° however you zoom.
There's a whole article on this: picking an anchor.
3. Draw
- 1Choose a tool on the rail down the left. The Gann fan (⌥G) is a good first one, and free.
- 2Read the hint that floats over the chart: it says what to click. For the fan, click the anchor, then a point that sets the 1×1.
- 3Click the drawing to select it. Drag its handles to move it; the floating bar holds its options, and Properties holds the rest.
Esc puts a tool down, Delete removes the selected drawing, ⌘Z undoes.
