Channels and Measure

Channels and pitchforks to frame a trend, and range tools that keep a move's size on the chart. Both groups come with the trial or Pro; ⌥M measures any move for free.

Channels

Parallel channelPro

  1. Click two points on the base line.
  2. Click a third: the far side runs through it.

Regression trendPro

  1. Click the first bar.
  2. Click the last: the closes between are fitted, with bands and Pearson's r.

Flat top/bottomPro

  1. Click two points on the sloped side.
  2. Click the flat side's price.

Disjoint channelPro

  1. Click two points for one line.
  2. Click two more for the other: the space between is filled.

PitchforkPro

  1. Click the pivot the fork starts from.
  2. Click the next two pivots: the median runs between them, and the prongs through them.

Schiff pitchforkPro

  1. Click three pivots.
  2. The fork starts halfway in price between the first two, for a flatter median.

Modified Schiff pitchforkPro

  1. Click three pivots.
  2. The fork starts halfway between the first two, in both price and time.

Inside pitchforkPro

  1. Click three pivots.
  2. The median runs from halfway between the first two to the third.

Measure

Price rangePro

  1. Click one price.
  2. Click the other; the box reads the change, % and ticks.

Date rangePro

  1. Click one date.
  2. Click the other; the box reads the bars, time and volume.
