Lines, arrows and text

The marks every chart needs. The Lines group and text are free.

Lines

Trendline⌥TFree

  1. Click the first point.
  2. Click the second point.
  3. Drag either end to adjust it; extend it either way in its settings.

Ray⌥ZFree

  1. Click where it starts.
  2. Click a point it runs through: it carries on past it to the chart's edge.

Info lineFree

  1. Click the start of a move.
  2. Click its end: the change, %, bars, time and angle show beside it.
  3. Choose which readings show in its settings.

Extended lineFree

  1. Click two points: the line runs through them to both edges of the chart.

Trend angleFree

  1. Click the start.
  2. Click the end: its angle shows on the screen and, with the 1×1 locked (Alt+1), on the 1×1.

Horizontal line⌥HFree

  1. Click a price: a horizontal line is drawn across the chart.
  2. Drag it up or down to move it.

Horizontal rayFree

  1. Click a price: a line runs right from there.
  2. Drag it to move it.

Vertical line⌥VFree

  1. Click a date: a vertical line marks it.
  2. Drag it sideways to move it.

Cross lineFree

  1. Click a point: a price line and a date line cross there.
  2. Drag it to move both.

Arrows

Arrow⌥APro

  1. Click the tail.
  2. Click where the head should point.

Arrow markerPro

  1. Click the tail.
  2. Click the tip.

Arrow mark upPro

  1. Click the bar; the arrow sits under its low.

Arrow mark downPro

  1. Click the bar; the arrow sits over its high.

Freehand and text

Freehand⌥PPro

  1. Hold the mouse button down and draw.
  2. Let go to finish the stroke.

TextFree

  1. Click where the text goes.
  2. Type it and press Enter.
  3. Double-click it to change the words; set its size, bold and italic in its settings.
