Engine guide

How to use the Engine

The Engine squares one anchor (a past high, low or event) against the Square of Nine, Gann’s cycles and the planets, and shows you where they agree. This guide takes you from your free report to the full dashboard.

01Your first report

Start in Guided mode. It asks five questions, takes about a minute, and needs no card or account. Your first report is free.

  1. 1

    What are you analysing?

Pick one of the 16 anchors in the Memory Bank (tops, lows and events across crypto, macro and commodities), or enter your own: the asset, the date of the pivot and its price. The date must be in the past.

  2. 2

Where is the market right now?

Optional. Type the current price and the report ranks levels by how close they are, and marks the ones price is already near. Skip it and they are ranked by harmonic weight instead.

  3. 3

    What’s your time horizon?

Intraday, swing, position or long-term. It sets which Square of Nine bands matter and how far ahead the report looks for dates: 7 days for intraday, 60 for swing, a year for position, five years for long-term.

  4. 4

What do you want to know?

Tick the sections you want: price levels, key dates, a trade plan template, and “show your work”, a short note on what the maths does. Levels and dates are on by default.

  5. 5

    How deep should it go?

“Just the top 3” fits on half a page. “Full report” lists every projection and every date in your window. You can re-run with the other.

02Reading the report

The report opens with the anchor, the current price if you gave one, and your horizon. Then:

  • Price targets. Square of Nine levels marked ↑ R for resistance above and ↓ S for support below, each with its band (say, +90°) and its distance from current price or from the anchor.
  • Key dates. Planetary returns and Gann cycle anniversaries inside your window, grouped by band, so dates that share a price band read as one cluster.
  • Trade plan. If/then lines built from the nearest levels (“if price reaches this resistance, watch for a reversal”), alert prices, and dates to put in your calendar.

Copy text puts the report in your notes, free. Print / PDF needs Pro. Treat every line as a level to watch, not a call.

03The dashboard

With Pro, the dashboard puts every module against one anchor, for as many anchors as you like. On a wide screen it is three columns; on a narrow one they stack.

Left

Memory Bank

Your anchors. Filter by market, click one to make it active, and use + Add Preset to save your own date and price.

Centre

The active anchor

Its name and price, then the setup row: a timeframe bar (with the daily ATR the matrices scale from) and the current price, typed by you. Below that, the confluence strip and the deep panels.

Right

Module switches

Show or hide each module. Hidden ones stay out of the PDF too. Your choice is remembered in this browser.

A good first pass: pick an anchor, type the current price, read the confluence strip, then open only the panels you need. Expand all opens every panel at once.

04The modules

Confluence strip
The summary. Each upcoming solar, lunar, Jupiter or Saturn return is paired with the price band to watch by that date. Switch to the split view to read price and time separately.
Price matrix · Square of Nine
Levels above and below the anchor at each harmonic, from ±45° to ±360°. With a current price set, each level shows its distance from it.
Gann squares
A 52, 90 or 144 square of price and time from the anchor, in days or weeks. The hot cells, where angles and divisions meet, are ranked with their date and price.
Gann angles
The nine angles, 1×1 to 8×1 and back, projected up and down from the anchor to a date you choose (today by default). Scale days sets the price per day; 360 is Gann’s classic.
Hexagon chart
Gann’s hexagon wound round the anchor, for reading the 360° cycle as a shape.
Cycle calendar
Gann anniversaries and cycle returns from the anchor, listed as dates. Download them as an .ics file for Google, Apple or Outlook calendars.
Celestial matrix
The Sun, Moon and planets squared to the anchor: a grid of price and time from each body’s position.
Backtest
Paste or upload a CSV of past prices (date, price, or date, open, high, low, close), set a tolerance and a look-forward window, and run. Each projection is marked hit or miss, with its closest approach. Some anchors have a sample you can load in one click.
Chart overlay
The levels and dates drawn on price. It fills once a backtest has loaded a price series.

05Save, share and export

  • Share view copies a link to exactly what you are looking at: the anchor and its settings are in the address. Bookmark it, or send it to someone with Pro.
  • Export PDF opens your browser’s print dialog; choose “Save as PDF”. Only the modules switched on are printed.
  • Download .ics, in the cycle calendar, puts the dates in your calendar.
  • Guided mode takes you back to the five questions whenever you want a quick report.

06Choosing an anchor

Everything the Engine shows is worked out from the anchor, so it is the choice that matters most.

  1. Use a pivot the market clearly respected: a cycle high, a capitulation low, a gap that never filled. A turn you have to squint to see makes a weak anchor.
  2. Use the exact price of the pivot, the high of the top or the low of the bottom, not a close.
  3. Match the anchor to your horizon. A five-year low suits a long-term report; for swing trades, a pivot from the last few months usually fits better.
  4. Try more than one. If the levels from one pivot sit nowhere near where price turned, run the same market from another. That tells you something too.

07Common questions

01Does the Engine send my data anywhere?

No. Every calculation runs in your browser, and anchors, prices and settings are kept in its local storage. Only signing in and checkout talk to our servers.

02Why do I type the current price myself?

The Engine has no quote feed, by design: nothing leaves your machine, so nothing comes in either. Your last price for each asset is remembered.

03I cleared my browser and my own anchors are gone.

They live in that browser’s storage, so clearing site data removes them, and they don’t follow you to another device. Use Share view to keep a link to an anchor and its settings.

04What does Reset clear?

The view: the active anchor, the current price, the timeframe, open panels and module switches. Your saved anchors stay.

05My free report is used. Can I change it?

Yes, in the same visit: “Adjust answers” takes you back to the last question, and you can jump to any earlier one from the steps across the top. A second report from scratch, the dashboard and PDF export need Pro.

06Are these predictions?

No. A level or a date is where the methods agree, not where price must go. Use them as places to watch, alongside your own reading of the chart.
